A wonderful old German Heirloom variety that produces clusters (20-40) of bright red sweet grape like tomatoes. The plants are large and vigorous with many branches. • Days to germination: 6-14 @ 18-24°C
• Planting depth: 2mm
• Transplant to 7cm pots when large enough to handle to grow on to 20cm tall
• Gradually acclimatise to cooler conditions and plant in growing site or in a greenhouse
• Plant spacing: 46-60cm
• Fertile well drained soil, water regularly
• Provide support and tie in regularly
• Do not remove side shoots as these will produce fruit but do remove lower leaves from mid-season onwards to encourage ripening and discourage pests
• Days to harvest: 80 days from transplanting
