November 2022
Where has this year gone? It is the month of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and although at our prices we don't really participate, we did create a Subscriber only offer, which of course you will only every hear about if you are a subscriber.
We were excited to be contacted out of the blue by a chap called Alan Wooldridge, who was interested in learning more about what we do and how we do it. I'll let Alan explain what he does in his own words...
"I’ve been blogging about allotments since 19th October 2012. I’ve been published in Grow Your Own magazine and was their member of the month on their Grapevine forum way back in October 2016.
The blog is my Journal that I created from the day I started my Allotment adventure, the information on the left panel is reference material I wanted to be able to find again. It started to attract attention of other gardeners and allotment holders who also found the information useful."
Why not pop over to his site and read what he has to say about us. Follow the link Seeds To Suit Blog Post
We also put out an appeal for some product reviews, as opposed to service reviews, for TrustPilot, if you read on below you can see our dilemma.
Our TrustPilot Reviews are excellent but we need some more Product Reviews, people seem quick to dish out bad reviews but it is easy to forget to give credit where credit is due. We have one perfect example where a customer gave a bad product review, explaining that he had not had ideal conditions so that was probably why the germination was poor and he also went on to say that the germination on everything else he bought was brilliant! Sadly for us, as he has not reviewed the products that were excellent, it is not reflected in the figures.
We are proud of our germination rates and very confident as we use the same suppliers as the "Top Boys" and we would really like our TrustPilot page to reflect this.
Could you help us by taking the time to leave a Product Review or two?
THE SALE! Continues and is always worth keeping an eye on for the wonderful bargains listed.
Also don't forget that you can give the 'Grower' in your life a Gift Card to allow them to purchase the seeds of their choice. With denominations of £5, £10, £15 and £20 they are a perfect fit for everyone's pocket.
We had a few exciting new additions including:
- American Land Cress, packed full of all the same goodness as Watercress just requiring less water
- The stunning Aquilegia Columbine
Crimson Star, as pictured above - Cauliflower All Year Round - a firm favourite
- Goji Berry - who wouldn't want a bountiful harvest of berries packed full of antioxidants?
We increased our Organic range with the wonderful Kale, Borecole Vates Blue Curled and at only 39p too!
With the arrival of dark nights and an influx of miserable weather Sal of Sal's Kitchen fame went out and out Comfort Food on us. The result was a hearty and warming Spicy Potato Soup. In our privileged position as guinea pigs we can confirm it really hit the spot!
The subject of The Herb Garden was the amazing Dill, what fun to discover all the uses other than the fact that it is a great addition to fish and pickles.
Don't forget, if you subscribe you will automatically become eligible for 10% OFF your first order. All you have to do is enter DISCOUNT10 at checkout. Only one use per customer so make your order count.
Please email sales@seedstosuit.co.uk if you would like to make a contribution to our Blog or Newsletter. Come to the party and be part of our community, lots of newbies will be grateful for snippets of your knowledge.
See you further down the garden path!
