February 2023

Hi there February!

So close to spring and yet so far...I know we are all feeling the same frustration at the will of iron required to hold off sowing too many seeds. Some, of course you can sow now. Onions, leeks, sweet peas and some all year round veg but it really is worth the wait for another month or two before you really get going. No matter how hard it is.

The big news of February for us, is that every product now has a downloadable sowing guide. Print or go hi-tech and just use on your device of choice, either way we hope you will find them helpful.

We introduced a new herb, St John's Wort. Some great facts were in the Newsletter, if you have not yet subscribed please do so and take advantage of your 10% OFF. This herb is a great addition to any wildlife garden or meadow and the pollinators will love you for it.

We reintroduced an old favourite, Courgette Green Bush, it's versatility as either a courgette or marrow is going down a storm with our customers and we also welcomed a newbie for the garden. Chinese Lantern, adds wonderful interest from summer all the way to early winter with a show of bright orange papery lanterns.

Sal came up trumps in Sal's Kitchen with a scrumptiously warming Scotch Broth with lots of time saving tips. She really does make good food easy, even for those with a hectic schedule.

We are off now to research some more newbies for March and we are also working on a tool for you that we think you will love. More of that later...

See you down the garden path!
