Smaller than its Swiss Giant sibling Tom Thumb, whilst dwarf, is no less prolific with the same everlasting flowers in a wonderful array of bright colours. Makes for a great show in any border and the flowers are great for drying. Annual. Download sowing guide

  • Sow late winter to mid spring at 24°C on the surface of fine seed compost
  • Do not exclude light as this will aid germination, keep moist but not saturated
  • Days to germination: 7-15 will flower 12-16 weeks after germination
  • Transplant when large enough to handle and acclimatise to outside conditions
  • Plant out when danger of last frost has passed 30cm apart in full sun
