Another easy and fast to grow variety but the purple reddish top and bright green stems make it stand out. Can be uses as baby leaves in salad or left to mature and used in a stir fry. Cold weather only enhances the colour. Download sowing guide

  • Progression sow from Mar through to October. Young plants may need some protection in very cold weather
  • Days to germination: 7-14
  • Optimum soil temperature: 10°C and above
  • Planting depth: 8mm

  • Moderately hardy and can be sown as soon as the soil is workable through to late season
