Vigorous plants that can grow up to 2 metres tall bearing large leaves with greenish yellow flowers. All the plant can be used and is a great addition to meat and vegetable dishes. Quite like celery both in flavour and appearance. Hardy Perennial.

 Sow from March onward in heated conditions or outside after the last frost

• Soil moist and loamy
• Sow seed 8mm deep
• Spacing: 46-60cm
• Sun or partial shade
• Gather leaves before flowering, young stems in spring and seed heads when mature. Roots can also be used from mature plants
