Grown for its unusual and stunning colour combinations of its 5cm flower heads. The cream to yellow blooms are striped with different shades of red, purple, rose or orange, each one different from the other. They grow to 60cm tall so may require some support in exposed areas. • Days to germination: 5-10
• Optimum temperature: 21°C
• Lightly cover with good quality seed compost and keep moist
• Can be sown outdoors after danger of last frost but will need protection from pests
• When large enough to handle transplant and grow on in cooler temperatures
• Pinch back young plants to create bushier growth
• Feed monthly
• Deadhead to prolong flowering
