Not truly black but a lush very deep velvety purple with a cerise throat and an ivory eye. Making a spectacular morning show of colour. • Days to germination: 5-14
• Planting depth: 6-8mm
• Spacing: 15-20cm
• Light: Full sun
• Soak seeds overnight in warm water for 24 hours before planting early to mid-spring under cover with warmth
• Acclimatise to cooler conditions once all danger of frost has passed
• Provide support to allow for its rambling nature
• Non-invasive and will die with the first frost
