• Sow seeds mid spring onwards with warmth – they will not germinate if cool
• Minimum temperature 18-20°C
• Days to germination: 10-21
• Transplant to 7cm pots when seedlings are large enough to handle
• Pot on when size warrants it and acclimatise to cooler conditions if planting outside
• Plant out when all danger of frost has passed
• Plant spacing: 30-45cm
