• Sow undercover 10 weeks before the last expected frost
• Surface sow on pre-moistened quality seed compost and lightly cover with vermiculite. Cover container with clear plastic to retain moisture until seedlings emerge.
• Temperature: 21-23°C
• Days to germination: 14-21
• Transplant when large enough to handle to 7.5cm pots and grow on in cooler conditions
• Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions once all danger of frost has passed
• Plant spacing: 30-45cm
• Light: Full sun/partial shade
