A perfect mix of Vetch and Rye to lift and fix nitrogen levels to improve your soil. Suits all soil types. Also works as a natural weed suppressant and as a dead mulch once dug in. Each packet is slightly over the requirement for 1 square metre, and more than most other companies allow. • Prepare your ground by digging over if necessary
• Surface sow the seeds evenly ensuring good contact with the soil
• Water in well
• Protect seeds and seedlings from predation by birds (especially pigeons) by netting
• Growth will be over 3 to 6 months
• Before flowering and when you are ready to utilise the area chop low and dig in
• Prepare your bed for planting or sowing as usual
