A gem for your border or even a rockery. Growing in a tidy clump with flowers reaching to 60cm height. The flowers are a beautiful scarlet/deep orange semi-double blooms that are great for cutting too. • Sow thinly from early spring to late summer.
• Lightly cover the seed or use vermiculite and only water from the base to avoid disturbing the seeds
• Germination temperature is 18-21°C
• Days to germination: 21-28 (can be slow)
• When large enough to handle transplant to 7cm pots and grow on
• Acclimatise to cooler conditions and plant out after all danger of frost has passed
• Plant spacing: 40cm
