This low growing, clump forming ornamental grass certainly catches the eye! An excellent choice for border fronts, pots or even mass planting. Excels in dry summers, the stress of which can enhance the colour. Reaches a height of 30cm and spreads to 25-30cm. Initially silver-green but develops into silver-blue when mature. Perennial. • Sow undercover in pots with warmth or directly outside once all danger of frost has passed
• Likes a fine seed compost with plenty of grit for drainage.
• Press seed firmly into growing medium
• Days to germination: 14-21
• Harden off and transplant to growing position once all danger of frost has passed
• Cut back foliage in early spring for mature plants and remove flower heads to avoid self-seeding and spreading
